The Long Barn:

Situated in the centre of the pretty village of Alderton at the foot of the Cotswolds and within easy reach of several famous gardens, stately homes and castles, ancient abbeys and cathedrals, bird sanctuaries and animal parks. The Long Barn is well-equipped, enjoying the benefits of full modernisation, with gas central heating and dishwashers.

 

The Long Barn is completely self contained and has its own large individual garden with paved area in warm walled garden close to the house, and lawns and flower beds further on. There is accommodation for nine people in five bedrooms and plenty of space for cots on request. There are two bathrooms and a shower room.

 

The cottage is a listed building and has been converted from a sixteenth century half-timbered barn. It lies on the east side of a private courtyard and has french doors leading from the sitting room to the garden. A barbecue is supplied for your use.

 

The cottage has a sitting room, dining hall, kitchen, family room, and cloakroom downstairs.  There are five bedrooms, two en suite and a family bathroom upstairs.

 

There are two staircases, one leads to an en suite double bedroom, the main stairs lead to an en suite double room, two twin rooms, a single room and a family bathroom with shower over the bath.

 

The cottage has full central heating, colour television, video, radio, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Linen and towels are provided.

 

Gas and electricity are paid by meter reading at the end of your stay.

 

There are two carports and one designated parking area for your use in the courtyard. We regret there is insufficient room for mini-buses, large vans or other large vehicles.
